Grilled Brussel Sprouts with Balsamic Glaze
1 lb Small Brussel sprouts cleaned and trimmed
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 2 cloves garlic minced Salt & pepper to taste For the Glaze ¼ cup Balsamic Vinegar ¼ cup light corn syrup ½ tsp black pepper Topping 1 tbsp sesame seeds In a medium bowl, mix together the balsamic vinegar, corn syrup and pepper. Set aside. In a medium sized bowl toss the brussel sprouts with the olive oil garlic and salt & pepper. Place the brussel sprouts onto a perforated grill pan. Place the pan on the grill using direct heat. Turn the brussel sprouts frequently. When the brussel sprouts are tender and slightly charred remove from grill. Drizzle the glaze onto the sprouts. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds. |
